About The Position

Hello Alpha is hiring a Clinical Product Operations Specialist to connect product, engineering, the care team, and partners. The role owns patient-facing content in Contentful, data requests and reporting in Amazon QuickSight, and bug triage for the platform. It also develops standard operating procedures, serves as a product expert for the clinical team, and supports release planning, delivery, and communication. The specialist manages and quality-checks content, builds dashboards and performs SQL analysis, coordinates bug reports and verifies fixes, supports clinicians with product and workflow questions, and manages EMR workflows and integration issues. The role also coordinates releases, maintains operational documentation, supports partner onboarding and user acceptance testing, and keeps clinical and operations requests organized in Jira. During the first 90 days, the specialist will complete security and HIPAA training, learn the content, data, and bug workflows, shadow the clinical team, take over bug triage using a written severity rubric, draft initial SOPs, establish a single data-request intake process, and replace common repeat requests with dashboards.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in product operations, business operations, analytics, or a similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with a business intelligence tool such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience managing content in a headless CMS.
  • Experience managing EMR workflows.
  • Experience triaging and documenting bugs in Jira.
  • Clear, concise writing skills for tickets, SOPs, and actionable updates.
  • Ability to explain a technical product to non-technical clinical colleagues and translate their needs into clear requests for engineers.
  • Careful, organized approach and comfort handling sensitive health data under HIPAA.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in health technology or healthcare.
  • Content modeling experience in Contentful.
  • Experience writing SOPs or training materials in a clinical or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Redshift and dbt.
  • Background in telemedicine, pharmacy, or health insurance.
  • Light Python scripting skills or ability to read automated test reports.
  • Experience supporting partner or client integrations.
  • Experience with Contentful.
  • Experience with Athena.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and publish Contentful entries; maintain a calendar of scheduled content changes.
  • QA content in the staging environment before it becomes patient-facing, maintain consistent content structure, naming, and permissions, and archive outdated content.
  • Write engineering requests for content-type changes and verify the completed work.
  • Manage a single intake process for data requests, ensuring each request has an owner, purpose, and deadline.
  • Build and maintain QuickSight dashboards, convert recurring data requests into self-service reports, write SQL for ad hoc analysis, and define consistent key metrics.
  • Validate reports against underlying data before sharing them with partners, finance, or leadership, and limit patient-data pulls to what each request requires.
  • Collect bug reports from the care team, support, and partners; link duplicate reports and reproduce issues in staging.
  • Document bugs with steps, expected and actual behavior, and screenshots; lead weekly bug reviews, verify fixes, close issues, and update reporters.
  • Serve as a product expert for patient and care-team dashboards and as the first contact for clinician questions and workflow issues; resolve or escalate issues.
  • Own EMR workflows, including Athena, and resolve integration issues with EMR technical support.
  • Translate clinical workflow needs into clear, scoped requests for product and engineering.
  • Guide clinicians through new features and changes, relay their feedback to the product team, and keep clinician-facing guides and training materials current.
  • Coordinate releases and draft clinical release SOPs; write and maintain SOPs for recurring product, clinical, and operations work.
  • Support partner onboarding with checklists, test accounts, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide regular updates on content, data, and bug queues, and organize the Jira backlog for clinical and operations requests.
