About The Position

Wander Staffing is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide direct patient care, medication management, and anticoagulation services for cardiology patients at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The role is 100% on-site and pays $78 per hour as a W-2 position. This is a long-term contract; the contract duration is between the government and Wander Staffing. Employees who need to leave are asked to provide 60 days’ notice. The schedule follows the clinic’s hours, which fall between 05:30 and 21:00. Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours, with a 30- or 60-minute unpaid lunch depending on the section and shift, averaging 40 hours per week. The department sets the schedule, and unplanned changes may occur as needed with Wander Staffing’s agreement. The pharmacist may be asked to stay beyond a shift when leaving would put a patient’s health at risk; this does not apply to routine paperwork or end-of-shift administrative tasks. The pharmacist may also rotate to other clinical pharmacist positions for which they are trained and competent.
