About The Position

Mindoula is seeking an experienced Clinical Partnership Manager for its Collaborative Care Program (CCP), a virtual behavioral health overlay based on the University of Washington-based AIMS Center’s Collaborative Care Model. CCP works with primary care, women’s health, and specialty physician groups to support patients with mild-to-moderate behavioral health needs. The program operates through service contracts with practices whose providers refer selected patients while remaining involved in treatment. The Clinical Partnership Manager will build expertise in Collaborative Care and develop, manage, and strengthen new and existing partnerships at the account, practice, and provider levels. The primary objective is to activate physicians in contracted practices to refer patients to CCP and achieve monthly referral-volume goals. Performance is assessed on referral outcomes and engagement with key physician referrers in the assigned territory. Physician interactions take place by phone, video conference, and in person. The role has a primary focus on larger accounts, with smaller accounts supported as needed, and is remote, preferably based in Oregon, with travel of up to 50%.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or business.
  • Three or more years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Success in a role involving 50% travel.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key accounts to promote engagement with Mindoula services.
  • Ability to provide proactive customer service and address problems before they arise.
  • Ability to understand healthcare and market trends and proactively recommend program changes.
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt to change in a high-growth organization.
  • Ability to create and review data and analytics to measure account performance.
  • Comfort delivering presentations virtually and in person.
  • Ability to represent Mindoula’s mission professionally to key accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Suite (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides), Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with healthcare providers, preferably generating provider referrals for a service.
  • Project management experience or experience implementing new partnerships.
  • Experience presenting company products in person and virtually.
  • Experience selling a healthcare service to accounts.
  • Demonstrated outcomes in growing accounts.
  • Start-up and behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

  • Focus primarily on larger accounts and support smaller accounts as needed, prioritizing provider needs.
  • Partner with and assist the Sr. Director, Physician Activation and Partner Success to support provider satisfaction after implementation, from initial training and education through ongoing referral growth.
  • Develop and manage regular meetings with assigned accounts to review enrollment, growth opportunities, concerns, and achievements, with the aim of increasing referral volume, satisfaction, and continued use of Mindoula services.
  • Communicate and meet with accounts, providers, and practice staff to understand practice needs and recommend strategies for referral growth and program satisfaction, including virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Create and review referral performance reports with accounts and practices in the territory.
  • Track account and practice engagement and referral trends, and intervene with physicians when referral slippage occurs.
  • Identify potential challenges to referral activity and develop contingency plans.
  • Monitor industry changes and account developments, anticipate challenges to CCP referrals, and develop mitigation plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Mindoula clinical operations colleagues on clinical concerns and act as a liaison between clinical operations and referring providers, escalating concerns when needed.
  • Support the referral process by communicating with providers when initial referrals have been received.
  • Provide initial and ongoing education to referring providers on appropriate CCP patients and the referral submission process.
