About The Position
The Clinical Nurse assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about the principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care in accordance with nursing practice standards and administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- PA Registered Nurse License or Multi State Compact RN License.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree.
- One year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
