About The Position
The RN assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The nurse applies knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other health care team members to individualize care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing practice standards and administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Multi State Compact RN License.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree.
- One year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
