About The Position

Saint Peter’s is seeking a talented, compassionate registered nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit nursing team. The hospital has earned its seventh consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation, recognizing exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes. The ICU RN contributes to a collaborative nursing team and provides patient care in accordance with nursing standards and established policies. This is a per diem night position.

Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification must be obtained during clinical orientation.
ECG course must be completed during clinical orientation.
Critical Care course must be completed during clinical orientation.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience preferred.
BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
Use assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients according to Nursing Standards.
Perform procedures according to established Standards of Care.
Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
Document all aspects of patient care meticulously.
