About The Position

As a Marketing Liaison at Encompass Health, you will help drive patient growth through referrals by cultivating strong referral relationships within a geographic territory. The role combines professional growth with community connection and supports the organization’s business goals. The position involves reviewing medical conditions and pre-screening referrals from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, homes, and assisted living facilities; developing call plans and strategies using the Referral Development System (RDS); identifying business opportunities through territory market analysis; educating the community, referral sources, and physicians about hospital programs and services; positioning the hospital strategically in the marketplace; and addressing admission barriers and following up on admission variables.

Requirements

• Current driver’s license in the employed state and an acceptable driving record under company policy.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably as a clinician or technician.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a nurse liaison or successful sales experience in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with acute hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and the local healthcare market.

Responsibilities

• Review medical conditions and pre-screen referrals from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, homes, and assisted living facilities.
• Develop call plans and strategies to drive volume using the Referral Development System (RDS).
• Use market analysis data within the individual territory to identify new business opportunities.
• Educate the community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Identify development opportunities to position the hospital strategically in the marketplace.
• Respond to and overcome admission barriers and follow up on admission variables.
