About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant for a full-time day-shift role in Norfolk, Virginia, at 850 Kempsville Rd., Norfolk, VA 23502. Available schedules are 0730–1600, 0800–1630, or 0830–1700. The role performs patient phlebotomy while maintaining a high level of customer service. It collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing; handles registration and test data entry; and monitors supply levels. Sentara offers market-competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The stated full-time base pay range is $19.88–$29.43 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy experience is required; no specific number of years is stated.
- BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities
