About The Position

Harvard Maintenance is hiring a Clinical Janitorial Cleaner to perform basic cleaning duties at assigned areas. Work includes cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, and other assigned items or areas. The cleaner also handles trash, dusting, polishing, floor care, and additional cleanup duties as needed. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., plus Saturdays, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. The role pays $18.00 per hour. Requirements

Strong communication skills.
Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
Willingness to work assigned hours.
Ability to perform physical demands including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform basic cleaning of assigned areas.
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas.
Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management.
Handle additional duties as required, including cleanup of flooded areas, incidental spills, trash concerns, and restroom concerns.
