About The Position

The Clinical Director is a senior leadership role responsible for the clinical integrity, quality, and culture of Life Change Outreach's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This position provides oversight of all clinical services, supervises the clinical team, and ensures every participant receives care that is both professionally sound and rooted in faith. The Clinical Director serves as a steward of clinical excellence and spiritual impact, guiding therapists, Case Managers, and Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS) while partnering closely with program and organizational leadership to strengthen and grow the IOP. Requirements

  • Full, unrestricted clinical licensure in the state of Oklahoma (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of three years of experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or program oversight
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to therapists and/or case management staff
  • Knowledge of biopsychosocial assessment, individualized treatment planning, and evidence-based practices in addiction recovery
  • Strong understanding of state and federal compliance requirements applicable to outpatient behavioral health programs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a faith-based, nonprofit, or recovery-focused clinical environment
  • Familiarity with IOP or partial hospitalization program (PHP) structure and operations
  • Experience working with Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS) or equivalent peer workforce
  • CADC, CCDP, or other addiction-specific credential

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all clinical services within the IOP
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, ethical, and effective clinical care
  • Oversee clinical decision-making and provide guidance and consultation on complex or high-acuity cases
  • Maintain alignment between clinical services, group programming, and daily operational needs
  • Oversee and support the completion of biopsychosocial assessments for all program participants
  • Ensure treatment plans are clinically sound, individualized, and implemented consistently by the clinical team
  • Monitor and maintain quality and consistency of care across all levels of the program
  • Supervise licensed therapists and provide clinical guidance to Case Managers and PRSS staff
  • Offer regular coaching, mentorship, and opportunities for ongoing professional development
  • Foster a team culture rooted in accountability, growth, unity, and mission alignment
  • Partner with program and organizational leadership to strengthen, grow, and evaluate the IOP
  • Oversee PRSS-led groups and step in to provide clinical direction when needed
  • Support integration of faith-based principles within clinical programming and group facilitation
  • Ensure all clinical documentation meets applicable state, ethical, and organizational standards
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, accreditation requirements, and best practices
  • Monitor quality assurance indicators and implement improvements as needed
  • Model the organization's values in leadership behavior, clinical decision-making, and daily interactions
  • Champion a Christ-centered approach within all aspects of clinical care and team culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational goals and mission
