About The Position

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), part of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), provides comprehensive cardiovascular care across more than 30 locations in the Philadelphia area. The organization is hiring a full-time Clinical Coordinator for its South Philadelphia office. The role coordinates patient appointments, testing, and procedures; supports clinical and front-desk operations; and helps ensure patients and care teams have an organized scheduling experience. The position includes a $500 sign-on bonus, subject to the stated employment and repayment conditions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments, testing, follow-ups, and surgical procedures.
• Coordinate surgical scheduling to support a smooth process for patients and clinical teams.
• Obtain prior authorizations and precertification for office testing and procedures, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, stress echocardiograms, vascular testing, and home sleep studies.
• Review testing instructions with patients and confirm upcoming appointments.
• Enter charges during patient visits and designated downtime.
• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls using proper phone etiquette.
• Record and relay messages accurately using EMR workflows and appropriate medical terminology.
• Route urgent or emergency calls appropriately.
• Support front-desk operations by greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and collecting copays.
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate contact information for physicians and staff.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
