This is a Full-Time position where the Clinical Coordinator Float will interact with administrative and clinical staff to ensure maximum utilization of resources and efficient delivery of services. The role oversees day-to-day clinic activities and schedules to reduce patient wait times and overtime expenses. The coordinator assists physicians to ensure clinics run smoothly and on time, schedules patients for surgery, advises on pre-surgical requirements, and reviews surgical documents. They also advise patients on out-of-pocket expenses, manage the surgical schedule, and act as a liaison between staff and the authorization department. The role involves entering surgical/clinical charges, coordinating patient tests and follow-up appointments, documenting patient calls, managing clinical risk issues, and ensuring timely return of patient calls. Additionally, the coordinator monitors "Hold" buckets on the Athena Dashboard, assists with claim resolution, addresses patient/vendor/staff concerns, analyzes patient wait times, and communicates with staff and physicians to ensure quality of service. The role also coordinates physician schedules, on-call rounding lists, and ensures regulatory compliance.
