About The Position

Mia Aesthetics is seeking a Clinical Assistant to attend to patients before surgery and ensure relevant patient information is collected and recorded in preparation for surgery. Requirements

High school diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be maintained.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Verify patient information, including medical history and purpose of visit, through communication with the patient.
Prepare patients for examination by conducting preliminary physical tests and taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
Record appropriate patient information in patient charts and/or Salesforce.
Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.
Counsel patients by relaying physician orders and addressing questions about surgery.
Assist with preparing charts, pre-admission materials, and consent forms.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
Maintain inventory of supplies as needed.
