About The Position

Everleap Fertility is hiring a Clinical Assistant for its Englewood clinic. The role supports physicians and multidisciplinary team members by assisting with the nursing process and providing hands-on patient care. The Clinical Assistant helps create a positive patient experience and supports high-quality clinical service. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with rotating Sundays.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program (certification in nursing/healthcare assistance).
• Completion of a phlebotomy program (certification).
• Prior experience in women's healthcare.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with clinical procedures.
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy.
• Document ultrasound measurements and provider comments accurately, use appropriate stimulation templates, and chaperone ultrasounds.
• Clean examination rooms and equipment according to protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain the inventory of clinical supplies.
• Collect and process specimens for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside laboratories, reports, and results; enter results and email them to the provider team for review.
• Give patients information about upcoming procedures and provide reassurance and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
