About The Position

CEENTA is hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare environment. The role offers hands-on patient care experience, medical assistant training opportunities, and potential career growth in healthcare. The assistant balances clinical and administrative work to support efficient, high-quality patient care. The position is based at SouthPark, Corporate in Charlotte, North Carolina, and requires travel to other CEENTA clinic locations as needed. A typical day includes welcoming and rooming patients, recording histories, vital signs, and medication updates in the EHR, and assisting providers with examinations and procedures. The role also involves sterilizing rooms and equipment, responding to patient messages and prescription refill requests, scheduling follow-up visits and surgeries, and keeping documents and work queues updated.

Willingness to travel between clinic sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients.
Document patient histories, vital signs, and allergies.
Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.
Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries.
Administer medications and collect laboratory specimens.
Provide patient education and serve as a scribe when needed.
Respond to patient messages and prescription requests.
Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
Clean and restock examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards.
Maintain clinic supply inventory and place orders as needed.
Support onboarding and training of new staff and apprentices.
Collaborate with providers and clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Travel to other CEENTA locations as needed.
