About The Position

The School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks scholars with professional experience in organizational learning and leadership for an appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. These full-time 12-month positions will be appointed for three-year terms, with the potential to renew for additional terms. This position is an opportunity to contribute to expanding organizational leadership knowledge and teaching contributions across the undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Education. Candidates’ primary responsibilities will include developing and teaching courses in organizational leadership and mentoring students in the EdD in Educational Leadership’s online concentration in Organizational Leadership and Learning ( OLL ). In addition, candidates will contribute to the ongoing development of undergraduate and graduate programs; teach in related programs as available; and provide leadership and service at the school, university, local, state, and national levels.

Requirements

• Professional experience in organizational learning and leadership
• Ability to develop and teach courses in organizational leadership
• Ability to mentor students in the EdD in Educational Leadership’s online concentration in Organizational Leadership and Learning (OLL)
• Ability to contribute to the ongoing development of undergraduate and graduate programs
• Ability to teach in related programs as available
• Ability to provide leadership and service at the school, university, local, state, and national levels

• Experience using research to inform practice in K-12 or higher education, non-profit, business, government, and/or other organizational settings
