The Clinical Assistant CNA performs designated tasks for patients in all age groups in a clinic setting. This role requires good communication skills, support for teamwork in patient care delivery, and demonstration of customer relations consistent with the hospital’s purpose, vision, and values. The position involves basic patient monitoring, specimen collection, recording vital signs, preparing exam rooms, reporting changes in patient condition, utilizing EMR, obtaining patient history, performing simple lab and screening tests, disinfecting equipment, completing medication reconciliations, and potentially scheduling tests or referrals. Employees are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethical behavior, and regulatory compliance, adhering to OCH Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures, Scope of Practice, HIPAA, Workplace Safety, and Mandatory Training requirements.
