Clinical Area Manager

Inogen•Colorado Springs, CO
•$75,000 - $90,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) is a field-based clinical role responsible for creating clinical demand for Inogen therapy through physician engagement, clinical education, and qualified referral growth in the Denver/Colorado Springs market. Candidates must live within the assigned territory, preferably in the Denver or Colorado Springs areas. The CAM educates physicians, sleep specialists, care teams, and DME branch staff while helping qualified patients reach the appropriate fulfillment path. The role is channel-agnostic: patients choose their DME, and CAMs must not direct or steer patients to a specific DME. DME revenue, pricing, and contracting are owned by the Area Sales Manager. The CAM builds relationships with referral sources, delivers compliant education and demonstrations, generates and routes qualified referrals, and manages a territory plan based on claims and market data. The position includes planned overnight travel and independent territory management. The CAM completes onboarding and earns certification within three months through observed mastery, performance results, and a written capstone, with field coaching from the Lead, Clinical Success Enablement.
