Clinical Area Manager

Inogen•San Francisco, CA
•$75,000 - $90,000

About The Position

The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) is a field-based clinical role responsible for creating clinical demand for Inogen therapy in an assigned territory by educating physicians, sleep specialists, care teams, and qualified patients. The role focuses on physician engagement, clinical education, and qualified referral growth. It is channel-agnostic: the goal is to help patients access the appropriate therapy through the DME they choose. DME revenue, pricing, and contracting are owned by the Area Sales Manager. The position covers the San Francisco market. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory, preferably in the San Francisco area, to provide effective customer coverage and territory management. CAMs complete an onboarding program and earn certification within three months, with field coaching from the Lead, Clinical Success Enablement. The role requires independent territory management and planned overnight travel.
