Clinical Area Manager

Inogen•New Orleans, LA
•$75,000 - $90,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) is a field-based clinical role responsible for creating clinical demand for Inogen therapy in the New Orleans market. The CAM educates physicians, sleep specialists, care teams and other referral sources, supports qualified patients in reaching the appropriate fulfillment path, and grows qualified referrals. The role is channel-agnostic: the objective is the right therapy for the patient, regardless of which DME the patient chooses. DME revenue, pricing and contracting are owned by the Area Sales Manager. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory, preferably in the New Orleans area, and be able to manage the territory independently, including planned overnight travel. CAMs complete an onboarding program and earn certification within three months, with field coaching from the Lead, Clinical Success Enablement. Certification includes observed mastery, performance results and a written capstone. All work must follow Inogen policy, the Anti-Kickback Statute and patient-choice requirements; CAMs must not direct or steer patients to a specific DME. The expected base salary is $75,000 to $90,000 annually, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Commission Plan. Actual base salary is determined individually based on non-discriminatory factors, including skills, education, experience and market location. The role is eligible for company-sponsored benefits and wellbeing programs.
