Clinical Area Manager

Inogen•Little Rock, AR
•$75,000 - $90,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) is a field-based clinical role responsible for creating clinical demand for Inogen therapy through physician engagement, clinical education, and qualified referral growth within an assigned Oklahoma City/St. Louis territory. Candidates must reside within the territory, preferably in the Oklahoma City or St. Louis areas, to provide effective customer coverage and territory management. The role educates physicians, sleep specialists, care teams, and DME branch staff, and helps qualified patients reach the appropriate fulfillment path. The CAM is channel-agnostic: the goal is the right therapy for the patient, regardless of which DME the patient chooses. DME revenue, pricing, and contracting are owned by the Area Sales Manager. CAMs complete an onboarding program and earn certification within three months, with field coaching from the Lead, Clinical Success Enablement. Certification involves observed mastery, performance results, and a written capstone. The position requires independent territory management, planned overnight travel, and compliance with Inogen policy, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and patient-choice requirements. The expected base salary is $75,000–$90,000 annually, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Commission Plan. Inogen offers health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer contribution and match, vacation and sick leave, paid volunteer time, and wellbeing programs.
