Requirements

Graduates of an accredited LPN/RN program.
Maintain current registration and a valid license with the Iowa Board of Nursing.
Compliance with all continuing education requirements mandated by the Board.
Strong foundation in skilled nursing practice.
Comprehensive understanding of clinic setting nursing dynamics.
Maintain BLS certification.
Must have clinical knowledge necessary to competently perform quality nursing care duties.
Must display a high degree of empathetic understanding, tact, and kindness toward others.
Ability to communicate well and work effectively with others.
Be a team player.

Responsibilities

Preparing patients for their appointments by conducting thorough assessments, including taking vital signs, discussing chief complaints, and reviewing medications, all meticulously entered into our electronic records.
Assisting Physicians and Mid-Levels during examinations and procedures, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively serve the primary population of patients in our department, contributing to their overall well-being and fostering a trusting environment.
