About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is seeking to hire a full-time Registered Nurse for their Baker City SAMG Family Practice Clinic. This position offers a varied day-to-day experience within a supportive team and positive work environment. The RN will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers, ensuring a positive patient experience through compassion and kindness. Key duties include administering medications, maintaining a safe nursing area, and offering education and resources to patients and families. Additionally, the RN is expected to mentor clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold patient confidentiality. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to make decisions and act effectively in stressful situations, provide outstanding customer service, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be a collaborative team player.

Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
  • RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date
  • Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire
  • Provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
  • Must obtain ACLS within 6 months

  • Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
