About The Position

The Clinic Office Assistant provides direct or indirect care, under physician supervision and within the employee’s scope of training, to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, potential health problems, or preventive-care needs. The position supports patients and providers by welcoming patients, preparing them for visits, assisting with clinical procedures, and coordinating care to help deliver a positive, compassionate, and efficient healthcare experience.

Requirements

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current certification or license from one of the listed organizations: Certified Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assistants); Registered Medical Assistant (American Medical Technologist); Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (National Health Career Association); National Certified Medical Assistant (National Center for Competency Testing); Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (National Association for Health Professionals); Registered Medical Assistant (American Allied Health); or Certified Medical Assistant Clinical (American Medical Certification Association).
• Active LPN license in the state of employment.
• CPR provider certification.

• Experience is preferred but not required.
