About The Position

The Clinic Nurse Supervisor position is responsible for the organization, coordination, and management of the New Lisbon Family Medical Center, as well as providing direct patient care.

Requirements

Two-year degree in nursing required.
Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
Comprehensive nursing skills and direct patient care experience required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Four-year degree preferred.
3+ years of related work experience in a similar role preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct patient care includes telephone triage, patient education, workload messages, occasionally rooming of patients to backup other staff as needed, etc.
Manage work schedules, timesheet management, vacation/leave approval
Manage training for current staff
Manage interviewing/hiring, orientation and training for new staff
Perform employee annual evaluations, employee issues/concerns, conducting verbal and written reviews along with disciplinary action as needed
Schedule and facilitate team meetings and huddles
Manage the supply/vaccine orders – including VFC and Wifi Senso management
Purchase and maintenance orders – submit for the clinics as needed
Responsible for team building, communication, and ensuring compliance with organization policies/procedures and professional standards.
Manage the patient care staffing and monitor daily performance to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely.
Monitor quality and accuracy of work output in clinics, providing feedback or corrective guidance as needed.
Develops effective decision-making, communications and interpersonal relations to ensure a positive image of the Mile Bluff Medical Center Organization.
Assist with audits, inspections, or surveys related to clinics.
Perform other duties as requested.
