The individual in this position will manage a Walk - In Clinic, General Surgery, Occupational Med.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Perform and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensure department stay focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work and ensure quality standards.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
