About The Position

Coastal Payroll Services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Support Specialist III to join its Client Support team. The role serves as the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive support, training, and issue resolution to help ensure seamless and accurate payroll processing. The position is part of a fast-paced, client-focused workplace and works directly under company management to deepen payroll knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

Proven knowledge and/or experience in customer service and operations within payroll and human resources functions.
Strong phone and web-based customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, as well as federal and state payroll taxes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid math and analytical skills to effectively support clients.
BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a designated portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with daily deadlines.
Assist clients with training and ongoing use of web-based human capital management products so they can maximize system capabilities.
Help clients analyze payroll reports and develop customized reporting tools to meet business needs.
Handle a high volume of incoming calls and support cases while delivering high-quality customer service.
Work directly under company management to deepen payroll knowledge and develop expertise in the field.
