About The Position

The Bloomingdale’s Client Specialist is responsible for maximizing sales in an assigned area, brand, or category by providing outstanding service and product knowledge, maintaining compelling merchandise presentation, building personal clientele, and educating colleagues. The role involves welcoming and assisting customers, putting their needs first, and completing tasks that support the omnichannel experience when not serving customers or conducting outreach.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of related experience.
Open and continuous communication skills, including keeping others informed and presenting information clearly and concisely.
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; the role may involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
