Client Service Representative We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. VCA All Pet Animal Hospital in Taylorsville, UT is seeking a full time Client Service Representative to join our practice with others who identify themselves as personable, highly professional animal and people lovers. We believe in providing the best possible care to all our patients. We are open weekdays M-F 8am – 7pm, Saturdays 8am - 2 pm and provide full general practice medical services. The Client Service Representative (CSR) is the client's first point of contact with our hospital and is responsible for initiating hospital resources related to the needs of their pet, such as scheduling general practice appointments or discussing our hospital’s emergency services. As the face of our hospital, the Client Service Representative also sets the stage as we build and maintain each client's trust and confidence in our abilities, helping to develop the relationships we have with our clients, thereby enhancing their experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated excellence in customer service
• Compassion for pets and people
• Proven decision making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action
• The ability to communicate and integrate new information into problem solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches and animal waste

Nice To Haves

• No prior veterinary experience required.

Responsibilities

• Client service functions, including greeting visitors, handling multiple telephone calls simultaneously
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Presenting and explaining fees
• Processing payments
• Managing electronic medical records and related correspondence
• Ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times- both inside and outside
