About The Position

The Client Service Representative (CSR) at Companion Care Veterinary Hospital is responsible for providing an exceptional experience to clients during every interaction. This role involves engaging clients, performing administrative tasks such as record maintenance and appointment tracking, managing practice reception, handling accounts, processing payments, data entry, and mail services. The CSR utilizes practical knowledge of practice processes, services, and veterinary terminology to ensure excellent patient care and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Ability to work on weekends as required
High school diploma or equivalent
Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE

Nice To Haves

Previous veterinary experience preferred
Client satisfaction references preferred

Responsibilities

Leads practice opening and closing procedures.
Ensures all public areas are clean and presentable.
Processes cash, checks, charge card payments, and credit account payments.
Schedules appointments for the clinic, adhering to practice and Doctor preferences.
Assists in updating client/patient files.
Prepares and sends client correspondence and reminder notices.
Conducts re-calls to clients from a call back list.
Performs regular backups of the computer system.
Oversees the posting of daily business.
Welcomes clients and patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Answers incoming telephone calls with proper telephone etiquette.
Presents clients with medications, instructions, new client kits, and other take-home items.
Handles emergency situations with care, patience, and adherence to clinic policies.
Addresses client concerns calmly and appropriately to ensure satisfaction.
