About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Client Partner to lead and grow an existing strategic account in the Manufacturing (MFG) sector, specifically supporting a major client in Minneapolis. This is a replacement AVP-level role requiring strong account ownership, delivery oversight, relationship management, and growth strategy execution for a long-standing customer. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience managing large manufacturing accounts (preferably HVAC, industrial equipment, or related sectors), with a proven background in IT services, digital transformation, engineering services, and end-to-end client engagement.

Requirements

  • 10–18 years of experience in Client Partner / Account Management roles within IT Services or Engineering Services.
  • Strong background managing large MFG clients ; experience with Daikin or similar HVAC/industrial/global manufacturing accounts is a strong plus.
  • Proven success in growing existing accounts, driving revenue, and maintaining multi-million-dollar portfolios.
  • Deep understanding of: ERP (SAP preferred) Supply Chain & Manufacturing IT Digital transformation, cloud, IoT, data/AI, engineering services
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage P&L at the account level.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional delivery, sales, and solutioning teams.

  • Prior experience as a Client Partner / Engagement Leader in the Minneapolis/Midwest region.

  • Prior leadership experience at AVP or Sr. Director level.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of a major existing account (Daikin), ensuring high client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for senior client stakeholders (Director, VP, and C-Suite levels).
  • Drive strategic conversations around technology, digital transformation, engineering services, cloud, data, and modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and execute an account growth strategy, including upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service lines.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the existing account to achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Lead proactive proposal creation, solution positioning, and deal shaping.
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure operational excellence, on-time project execution, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Resolve escalations, manage risks, and maintain strong delivery governance.
  • Oversee contract renewals, SOW creation, and financial management of the account.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to the client.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing and industrial operations.
  • Support internal leadership on forecasting, account planning, and budget management.
