About The Position

Join our compassionate and recovery-focused team as a Client Engagement Specialist, where you'll play a key role in helping women and children successfully begin their treatment and recovery journey. As one of the first people clients meet when entering the program, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed environment while guiding individuals through the onboarding and orientation process. This role combines client support, customer service, program coordination, and administrative responsibilities to help ensure a positive and seamless admission experience. Requirements

  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience in customer service, administrative support, healthcare, behavioral health, social services, residential services, or a related field
  • Demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with clients and families
  • Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exercise professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries
  • Utilize electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications effectively
  • Work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain a current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance if required by assigned duties

Nice To Haves

  • Bring experience working in substance use treatment, behavioral health, healthcare, or human services settings preferred
  • Demonstrate experience working with women, children, and families preferred
  • Provide experience in onboarding, orientation, client support, or customer service functions preferred
  • Utilize electronic health records and documentation systems preferred
  • Apply knowledge of trauma-informed care principles preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and their children with professionalism, compassion, and a trauma-informed approach
  • Guide clients through the onboarding and orientation process while helping them become comfortable in the program environment
  • Conduct facility tours and explain program expectations, schedules, resources, and safety procedures
  • Assist clients with personal belongings, locker assignments, and admission-related logistics
  • Conduct property searches in accordance with program policies and safety standards
  • Prepare admission materials, orientation packets, and required documentation
  • Maintain accurate client records, data entry, census information, and onboarding documentation
  • Coordinate scheduling, phone communications, and other administrative support activities
  • Monitor admission, reception, and common areas to promote a welcoming and organized environment
  • Support daily program operations through administrative, organizational, and customer service assistance
  • Collaborate with clinical, medical, residential, and support staff to ensure a smooth client experience
  • Respond to client questions, concerns, and requests while connecting individuals with appropriate team members
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and organizational policies
