About The Position

Join the team providing customized financing and payment solutions to commercial real estate owners, developers, investors, operating companies, investment funds, and trusts. As a Real Estate Banking (REB) Client Associate in Commercial Real Estate, you will assist with relationship management and business development alongside the REB Client Executive team. You will participate in the Banking Associate program, which progresses job functions from Associate level 1 to Associate level 3 while developing skills for a career at the firm and potential advancement to more senior Commercial Real Estate roles, such as Client Executive.

This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. An employment offer is contingent on JPMorganChase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree.
• Experience building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Superior Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a proactive, creative mindset.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of credit analyst experience in Commercial Banking or Investment Banking, focused on real estate.
• Completion of a major corporate bank credit training program, or equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver value-added solutions to clients and prospects to help them reach their goals and maximize revenues over the relationship.
• Foster strong internal relationships, particularly with Risk, Product Specialists, Treasury Services partners, Real Estate Investment Banking, and other applicable groups, to identify solutions for clients and prospects.
• Support REB Client Executives with financial modeling, prescreening, market sizing, and client planning analysis.
• Assist in managing firm-wide risks and adhering to policy and regulatory compliance standards, including AML/KYC, credit exposure, daily transactional risks, and reputational risks.
