About The Position
Nelson Mullins is seeking a corporate associate to join its Atlanta office. The role offers the opportunity to grow a practice in commercial finance and real estate at a growing AmLaw 100 firm. Atlanta attorneys work on matters including business and legal developments, national class action cases, public company formation, financial institution capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and pro bono cases. The Atlanta office is located at 201 17th Street NW in Atlantic Station, a mixed-use development with everyday amenities and alternative transportation options within walking distance. The office meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of meaningful experience negotiating purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, loan agreements, and ancillary loan documents, and closing loans, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Strong academic record and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and interest in growing a practice in commercial finance and real estate.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Admission in good standing to the Georgia Bar.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, loan agreements, and ancillary loan documents.
- Close loans, acquisitions, and dispositions.
