About The Position

A warehouse receiving clerk is responsible for receiving and processing incoming product shipments, maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures. The role also involves ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction when customers pick up orders or make returns at the facility. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Previous experience with receiving functions, including RF scanning.
• WMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure incoming shipment items to verify them against bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve shipment issues.
• Prepare, maintain, and record inventory, receipt, purchase, and delivery records to assess supply needs.
• Assist with unloading and unpacking products from trucks, process returns, and ensure proper item storage.
• Conduct regular warehouse material audits to ensure items are undamaged and stored neatly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.
• Occasionally assist with other warehouse tasks, including picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
