About The Position

The Customer Service Clerk is the point of contact for our valuable clients. Ensuring the customer experience is positive, professional and efficient, these members will be the liaison between the customer and fleet. Supporting clients with order review and any ad hoc requests that may arise and using their exceptional communication skills to set expectations, resolve issues, answer inquiries and build client relationships. Managing changing needs, being agile, organized and exercising a high degree of organizational skills will be essential to the success of this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in Customer Service required
  • Proficient MS Office Suite experience required
  • High school diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the transportation/ supply chain industry an asset
  • Experience with and with TMW software an asset

Responsibilities

  • Providing timely, professional and accurate communication with customers (email, phone)
  • Performing various administrative duties, including but not limited to data entry, order creation, as well as maintaining database entries and shared files
  • Using TMW software to track, trace and record information
  • Schedule appointments, confirm hours of operations and connect with dispatchers if needed
  • Track shipments in bond, request reimbursements as needed and monitor additional costs during transit, to minimize if possible
  • Confirm customs broker details, liaison with customer as needed
  • Other relevant duties as assigned
