Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.
  • This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Examine petitions and driver records to determine whether customers qualify for an Ignition Interlock Limited License
  • Enter petition information and update driver records based on forms and documents received from customers
  • Track incoming work, log mail items, and distribute assignments according to priority and workflow needs
  • Maintain required accuracy levels while assisting in training staff and providing feedback on correct procedures
  • Apply the correct fee waiver codes and ensure that all fees are processed or forwarded within established timeframes
  • Respond to questions from customers and staff by reviewing records and providing clear information via telephone
