Requirements

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Examine licensure applications to assess eligibility and accuracy
  • Check documents and records to confirm completeness and required information
  • Respond to calls and provide information to applicants and the public
  • Determine inspection needs and request reports through the computer system
  • Compile licensure histories, certificates, and letters of good standing
  • Prepare discrepancy notices and handle exceptional applications for further review
