As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - Patrol with Active Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Security License in Texas.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or entry authorization, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area concerns, and other security-related issues according to post orders.
• Support site readiness by maintaining a professional presence, following weapons handling protocols, and completing required reports, logs, and/or shift activity records in a timely manner.
