About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is hiring a part-time Clearance Center Associate to support its mission of transforming lives through the power of work. The role supports the final stage of the retail process by helping with product flow, salvage operations, and customer interactions to keep clearance centers efficient and organized. Associates contribute to operational, production, and sales goals while handling donated goods and maintaining safe work areas.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate basic English effectively.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active environment involving lifting, moving, and standing.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily clearance center operations, including moving, rotating, and processing goods from dock to floor.
• Assist with auctions, vendor coordination, and accountability processes.
• Load and unload trucks while safely handling donated goods and materials.
• Operate cash registers and complete transactions accurately when needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces, including backroom and sales floor areas.
• Support salvage, recycling, and waste processes in alignment with company standards.
• Contribute to overall production, sales, and operational goals.
