About The Position

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating scrubbers and buffers and performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. The associate maintains cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms. The position also supports customer experience, store culture, safety, health and safety practices, merchandising and signage standards, and loss prevention. Associates are cross-trained across store areas and provide front-end coverage as needed. Additional duties may be assigned. The starting pay range is USD $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits are subject to applicable eligibility requirements and plan terms.

Responsibilities

Maintain floor care cleanliness standards, including operating and maintaining the scrubber and buffer.
Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
Cross-train in other store areas, including the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Follow operational and loss prevention controls and company guidelines, including shrink reduction.
Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures, including associate meal and break policies.
Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
Role-model customer experience practices and support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Perform other duties as assigned.
