About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating a scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows. The Associate maintains cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards throughout the store, follows health and safety, operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention policies, and is cross-trained to support multiple store areas and business needs. The Associate also supports customer experience, store culture, Front End coverage, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor care cleanliness standards, including operating and maintaining the scrubber and buffer.
• Clean floors and surfaces by dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Refill essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Work in other store areas as needed, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor.
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company guidelines, including shrink-reduction practices.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
