About The Position

At OCS, cleaners help provide safe, clean environments where customers can thrive in their workspaces. The Cleaning Supervisor ensures cleaning staff carry out their duties efficiently, uphold high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment. The role includes managing a small team, overseeing rotas, holidays and performance, delivering training to cleaning operatives, and keeping records up to date. The supervisor conducts weekly cleaning audits and escalates concerns. The role may involve heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights. Access to a smartphone capable of running approved work applications is required for work-related tasks and communications.

Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Willingness to work at height.
• Access to a smartphone that supports approved work applications for relevant work tasks and communications.

Nice To Haves

• A background in cleaning or a food manufacturing environment.
• COSHH and IOSH training.
