Cleaning Specialist (Full-Time; Varied Shift)

About The Position

The Cleaning Specialist cleans and maintains the appearance of casino public areas and restrooms. The role is in the Engineering department and reports to the EVS Supervisor, DR Supervisor, EVS. It is a non-exempt position. The specialist provides guest service, supports team projects, responds promptly to customers and issues, and follows regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge of floor machines and cleaning equipment.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Neat, professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
Ability to work independently.
Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to meet the stated physical, mental, and environmental demands, with reasonable accommodations.

Clean ash urns, trash urns, and ash trays.
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly.
Sweep and mop tile, brick, and concrete areas.
Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
Clean public and employee restrooms daily.
Provide outstanding service to guests.
Participate in team projects, committees, and task forces by volunteering and providing input and suggestions.
Acknowledge and respond to customers immediately.
Stay knowledgeable about current promotional programs and events.
Proactively address incidents and issues and ensure resolution with employees.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures in an ethical manner.
