About The Position

The Golden Hog is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Clerk to maintain clean, safe, and well-organized areas throughout its store. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing floors, restrooms, common areas, workspaces, and other assigned areas; removing trash; responding promptly to spills; restocking cleaning supplies; and supporting general sanitation needs throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain high cleaning standards in a fast-paced retail and food-service environment. This is a full-time PM position scheduled from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays based on operational needs. Reliable transportation is strongly preferred because of the late closing schedule in Key Biscayne.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Cleaning Clerk, Cleaner, Janitor, Housekeeper, Sanitation Worker, or in a similar position is preferred.
Experience cleaning and sanitizing floors, restrooms, common areas, workspaces, and other high-traffic areas is preferred.
Willingness to perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, spill cleanup, surface sanitizing, and general cleaning duties.
Ability to safely use cleaning products, supplies, tools, and equipment according to established procedures.
Ability to monitor assigned areas and respond promptly to spills, cleanliness concerns, and sanitation needs.
Responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned tasks with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
Able to stand, walk, bend, and remain physically active for extended periods while performing cleaning duties.
Ability to work independently while supporting managers and team members with additional cleaning and sanitation needs.
Reliable transportation is strongly preferred due to the late closing schedule in Key Biscayne.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.
Previous cleaning or sanitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, common areas, workspaces, high-traffic areas, and other assigned areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, remove trash, clean spills, sanitize surfaces, and perform general cleaning duties throughout the store.
Respond promptly to spills, cleanliness concerns, and sanitation needs.
Restock cleaning supplies.
Use cleaning products, supplies, tools, and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
Monitor assigned areas and support managers and team members with additional cleaning and sanitation needs.
