About The Position

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engagement and interaction, while maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate helps maintain store cleanliness and recovery, supports customer transactions and loyalty programs, processes merchandise, and contributes to a safe and positive store culture.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
