About The Position

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment while helping deliver a highly satisfied customer experience. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position requires open availability and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer-experience principles.
• Model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the company’s merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
• Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
