About The Position

The Seasonal Part-Time Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating a scrubber and buffer; dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows; and maintaining cleanliness and recovery standards throughout the store. The associate adheres to operational, merchandising, health and safety, and loss prevention standards, and is cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate models customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, communicates effectively with management and coworkers, and responds to front-end coverage needs. Additional duties may be assigned. This is a seasonal, part-time position at Sierra Store 0246 in Dawsonville, Georgia. Starting pay is $13.00–$13.50 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including operating and maintaining the scrubber and buffer.
Perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
Cross-train and work in other store areas, such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Follow operational and loss-prevention controls, including shrink-reduction guidelines and policies.
Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break period policies.
Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Perform other duties as assigned.
