About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned janitorial and maintenance company, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cleaner to work at a client site. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and also a team player. The role involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including bathrooms and breakrooms. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with flexibility. Pay is $15.00 per hour. The job specification may be modified and may include other duties related to the position.

Requirements

• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
