About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned janitorial and maintenance company, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cleaner for a client site. The role involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, including bathrooms and breakrooms. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player. The schedule is 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesdays and Fridays, at $20.00 per hour. Duties may be modified or supplemented with other related responsibilities.

Requirements

• Able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to submit to a background check.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust mop and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can liners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
